Kelsey Stone- Victim Witness Supervisor, County of Tuolumne District Attorney

Kelsey graduated from Columbia College with an associate's degree in Sociology, Childhood Development, and Behavioral Sciences. She recently graduated from Grand Canyon University with her bachelor’s in social work. One of her highest honors was proudly serving as an Ameri Corps member for four years, initiating the Child Welfare Improvement Program in Tuolumne County. As a former foster youth and trafficking survivor, Kelsey began her career with Tuolumne County Child Welfare seven years ago. She served as the Foster Youth Manager for four years, and now she proudly serves her community as the Victim Witness Supervisor for the County of Tuolumne District Attorney. Her many years of experience working with the county’s most vulnerable people continue to be her passion for justice and change in her community. Her experience serving the at-risk population was created from the resilience built by many who invested in her as a youth. Kelsey has always lived by and encouraged others to be the change they want to see and remain teachable. To educate others in her county, she implements trauma-informed practices countywide that have helped many educators, parents, and community partners understand how to help at promised youth and foster youth.
