Founder’s Message

It is the end of first quarter here at WP and we have not blinked since the State Theater “Priceless” event for national human trafficking awareness month.  The team of staff and volunteers are so committed to bringing sex trafficking to an end that they have worked  to near exhaustion. In the past 3 months we have provided a home to Susan (not her real name) a young woman who was first trafficked by her mother at 15 years old.  Susan has just given birth to a son and WP is mentoring her to be the mother she never knew she could be.

Our #NotApriceTag in-class prevention training is seeing great response from students and administrators alike.  We have educated 25 classrooms and more than 750 students in 1st quarter alone.  I could go on about Mary Graham Hall impact, Aliya House bible studies, Juvenile Hall mentoring, Just His House guest outings, survivor parents counseling, all of which happen because people in this valley give financially and serve freely.  I simply want to say thank you for making Without Permission and the crime of sexual slavery a top priority in your prayers, conversations and resources.  You keep us on the front lines.

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
